EHBE takes place in the Congress Centrum Stadtgarten of the town, which lies in a beautiful park scenery within walking distance of train-station, center of town and its major hotels.

Schwäbisch Gmünd has lots of other things to offer to its visitors as well: Being part of the popular mountain biking area of Schwäbische Alb, it lies in the beautiful valley of the river Rems. Between softly rolling hills it stretches out into seven smaller valleys, inviting the walker to explore the ruins of medieval castles and the biker to ride along the Roman Limes.

The eldest seat of the ancient Staufer kings, and, with its long tradition and flourishing modernity of handicraft and art production, there a many spots of interest for sightseeing in the town.
